Law listened attentively to your every word as you told him about your world, interrupting you here and there to make questions. Your friend sometimes let out a small yelp before fangirling about how intelligent he was or how much more handsome he looked in person. Luckily, you managed to keep her away from him most of the time.

After a long talk, you didn't clear up anything, but at least Law had a better view of his actual situation. Everything seemed to point out he was trapped in your world forever. There was a long, silent pause, each one of you submerged in your own thoughts.

"The cleaning woman is late today." You muttered upon noticing what time it was already.

"She came before you arrived." Law informed, having heard your low comment.

"And nobody showered you?" You inquired. Law shook his head with a confused frown. "And why did I had to shower you yesterday!?" You protested in a huff without thinking what you were saying.

"You what?" Law deadpanned.

"Forget what I just said." You awkwardly requested.

"You showered him!? I want to do that too! You're so lucky!!!" Your friend dreamily exclaimed.

"I... It all happened really quickly, okay? That woman forced me!" You excused yourself, a faint blush appearing on your cheeks.

"I thought you said you didn't saw his thing." Esther commented, puffing her cheeks reproachfully.

"Because I didn't!" You were getting more flustered by the moment.

"Forced you? Did she point a gun at you and threatened to kill you if you didn't obey?" Law intervened with a sarcastic tone.

"Oh, shut up! Do you think I had fun?" You snapped back. His only answer was an annoyed grunt.

"Tell me. How is it? Does he have any hidden tattoos I don't know?" Esther continued interrogating you, her eyes wide open with interest.

"Hey!" Law protested.

"I don't know, I told you I didn't see anything." You replied, blushing further.

"Come on, we're besties. You can tell me. How long is it? I want the exact measurements." She insisted.

"Do you think I had a ruler?" You responded in sarcasm.

"Show me more or less how it was then. It was like this?" She asked positioning her index fingers in parallel, leaving some distance between them. "Like this?" She separated her fingers. "Or like this?" She neared her fingers.

"What part of 'I didn't see anything' you're not understanding?" You huffed.

"I'm here, you know?" Law protested again.

"But you had to see something. Accidents happen." Esther continued, ignoring Law who was starting to completely lose his temper.

"Okay, maybe I caught a glimpse, but it was just a millisecond and totally unintentional. I don't even know what I saw." You admitted.

"Aha! I knew it! Now, describe it, please." She requested with a movement of her hand.

"Stop fucking ignoring me!" Law exploded.

"Shhh... Calm down Traffy. You shouldn't stress yourself." Esther said as if she was talking to a little child. Law sent her the most deadly glare you had even seen, but she seemed to be immune.

"Yeah, take a chill pill, would you? I'm not going to go through that experience ever again, anyways." You stated, crossing your arms.

"I will!" Esther cheerfully offered.

"You won't." Law grunted.

Esther's mobile beeped at that moment. She took it and scanned the screen. "Oops... I totally forgot. My brother is moving out today and I was supposed to help."

"Oh, right. He and Amy had found a new house." You remembered. "Maybe I could go later to lend a hand as well."

"Nah, don't worry." She shook her head. "Well, Law. I love your adorably tsundere personality, but I have to go. I'll come to visit again as soon as possible."

"I hope you don't." Law growled.

"Can I give you a kiss?" She asked.

"No."

"On the cheek?"

"No."

"And you? Would you give me a kiss on the cheek?"

"No."

"And a-?"

"No."

"Let it be, Ther. He doesn't want more physical contact." You rolled your eyes. After enduring your best friend's effusive fangirling, the poor guy must have enough for months.

She pouted. "Will you at least give me an autograph when you're recovered?"

"Fine." Law accepted half-heartedly.

Esther let out a small excited yelp. "Okay, see you soon!" She cheered. You heard Law muttering a low 'please, no' under his breath. "Bye, (Y/N)." She gave you a quick hug.

"Bye. Thanks for your help." You replied with a smile.

"Thanks for saving Law." She smiled back, and after blowing a kiss to Law, she left.

"I should leave as well. I have work to do and I bet you're exhausted after having met my friend." You said, checking on your phone.

"Do as you please." He grunted, grumpily staring at the black screen of the TV.

"Would you like to watch the TV?" You offered, ignoring his grumpy behavior. It seemed he was in a bad mood again.

He turned his eyes to you and then back to the TV. Esther had explained him it was like a visual denden mushi but he was curious about it. "Okay."

You walked to the TV and introduced some coins to pay for a week of TV. Then, you went to the table next to Law's bed and took the remote control from the drawer. "Let's see..." You mumbled, studying the buttons. You pressed one and the TV turned on. A commercial about whole wheat bread appeared on the screen. "Okay, this is how this works." You explained Law what buttons he had to press to control the channels and volume and how he could turn off and on the TV. "Have fun. See you tomorrow."

"You're not going to come this evening?" He questioned.

"I didn't plan to. Why? Do you want me to come later?" You replied.

"No. I'm better on my own." He blankly replied, his eyes fixed on the screen of the TV.

"Are you sure?" You insisted. You had the feeling he was asking you to stay, but maybe it was just you wishing for an excuse to run away from your empty apartment.

"Yes."

"Okay. Bye, then."

"(Y/N)-ya." He called you upon remembering something you had said before. You hummed questioningly. "What are those chill pills you just mentioned? Are they some type of advanced medicine to prevent colds or some kind of anxiolytic?" You stared at him frowning in confusion. "You just told me to take a chill pill. What are those, exactly?"

An amused grin formed on your lips despite your futile attempts of holding it back. Law stared at you in puzzlement, not having idea of what did he said that was so funny. His face just amused you further and you started giggling uncontrollably. He blinked at you, not sure if he should feel offended about your giggles.

"Sorry." You apologized trying to hold back your laughter. "Sorry but... I didn't expect you to make such a question." You laughed. "When I said 'take a chill pill' I didn't intend for you to take it literal. It's just an expression. It means 'calm down'." Law felt a soft blush warming his cheeks, a feeling of embarrassment swirling in his chest at the thought of having said something stupid to you. "It's okay. You're a doctor. It's natural that you took it to your field of study, I guess." You soothed him, noticing his fluster. He grunted softly, averting his eyes from you. "Is there anything else you want to tell me?"

"No, you can leave."  He mumbled avoiding looking at you.

You said good bye to him again and he replied with a quiet 'bye', so you went to the door, and left.

The 'chill pill' joke is :iconcamipawz:'s idea. Thanks a lot for letting me borrow it! :)
